It’s that time of year! Finals!
For 1st Period, your final is TOMORROW. For 2nd Period your final is June 3rd.
Remember it is 60 questions all multiple choice. The review has been online and if you need to ask questions, feel free to post them there in the discussion forum. Refer to the discussion thread for more details. Bona fortuna!
Tonight for homework, you should read the final bit of the text from your textbook in Capitulum X. This is the final capitulum we will be looking at for the year. We will test on it on May 23rd, and then move on to focus on the Final.
If I gave you a printout report of your grade, you must turn in any of the missing work by 5/21 to receive partial credit. You also need to include the printout I gave you, signed by a parent/guardian. Everything is due on 5/21 – no exceptions.
Any makeup quizzes can be done after school provided you have corrections to turn in for that quiz.
For tests, you should do the extra credit assignment, but note that you have another test coming up on May 23 (Cap X, Pensum A).
If you want to earn extra credit and help your 4th quarter grade, now is your chance!
What I am looking for is a report on either a celebrity, historical figure, or superhero/villain that studied Latin. The report is due by 5/21 and must contain the following:
- Must be typed
- Must be at least one page
- Must have biographical/background information of your figure
- Must have a link to the study of Latin (your figure should have studied Latin, tell us where, how, why, etc.)
Have fun with this report! You must turn it in on 5/21 – no exceptions! Bona fortuna vobis!
Make sure you review for your test on the Dative case for Thursday, 2/28. Review Pensum A from Capitulum VII for your best chance of scoring well on the test. Bonam fortunam!
Just a reminder that your test for Capitulum V is tomorrow!
Make sure you are studying the use of the Ablative Case, the Accusative Case, and of course how to use Indicative and Imperative verbs. In particular, review Pensum A from Capitulum V and you should be good to go!
It’s that time of year again – the end of the 2nd quarter and also the end of the 1st semester!
Your midterm will be next week (1st period is on 1/14 from 8:10-10:10; 2nd period is on 1/15 from 8:10-10:10)! So get studying now!
The format is 50 questions, all multiple choice. The questions are all derived from the various exercitia that we have been working on in our workbooks from Capitululm I up to Capitulum V. I will detail which exercitia specifically in our group forum in the Amicita – so join us there to help study for your upcoming exam!
Let the studying begin! Work hard now and we party next week for Saturnalia!
Your test for Capitulum IV will be multiple choice and will be given on Monday (dies Lunae) 12/17! For more information on the test format, and to get some help online, visit our group forum and look for the Review Capitulum IV Test thread!
Nota Bene! Your test on Capitulum III is tomorrow! You should look over Pensum A from Capitulum III in order to prepare for your test. You will need to know how to use the Nominative and Accusative case forms of the nouns we have seen so far and also you will need to know the verbal endings we have been using, too. Bonam Fortunam!
Make sure you study for your test this Friday – we will be testing on Capitulum II. Here’s a hint – you may want to look over Pensum A from Capitulum II! If you have any questions, please post in our Amicitia group’s Capitulum II study discussion!
