If I gave you a printout report of your grade, you must turn in any of the missing work by 5/21 to receive partial credit. You also need to include the printout I gave you, signed by a parent/guardian. Everything is due on 5/21 – no exceptions.
Any makeup quizzes can be done after school provided you have corrections to turn in for that quiz.
For tests, you should do the extra credit assignment, but note that you have another test coming up on May 23 (Cap X, Pensum A).
Notate bene! Remember to complete your flashcards for Capitulum IX by Wednesday, 5/1! You just need to add images, and remove the English definitions.
Remember to decline a noun from the 1st declension in our group forum on Amicitia by Thursday 4/25. There is also a video there that will help you review the 1st declension nouns forms.
Remember to decline your demonstrative pronouns hic, haec, hoc, and ille, illa, illud on the discussion board over on Amicitia. You will need to post your declension forms in order to retake the quiz. No homework, no quiz retake!!
Make sure you are working on the flashcards for Capitulum VIII online. They are due by Friday, 3/8 and your grade will be based on how well your class performs. The total amount of images added for the total amount of terms in the set. Make sure you study over them – as we will be having a quiz coming up on those vocabulary words!
Practice a little reading comprehension! Tonight for homework, make sure to answer all of the questions for Pensum C Cap. VII by Wednesday 2/13. You should also read over, on your own, the third reading from Capitulum VII to see if you can figure out what is going on.
Remember to complete your flashcards for Capitulum VII via Quizlet. You have to replace the English definitions with images to help you anchor images to your Latin vocabulary instead of using English words. Make sure you complete the set by Monday, 2/11.
Since only three of you posted responses, I will give you all a second chance to get your homework done.
You have until class time on 2/7 to post your comprehension question responses. Remember to include the number of the question in your response. Also your grade is determined by the total responses against the total number of questions – so you will want everyone in your class to complete ALL of the questions!
It’s not due until Thursday 2/7 but make sure you get your crossword for Capitulum VI done for homework. It will help you review the vocabulary from the Capitulum in a Latin-friendly way!
Remember, your reading comprehension questions for Capitulum VI are due next time we meet in class. Make sure you answer online in our discussion group on the Amicitia – and make sure you post your response in the correct forum (there is a place for 1st period and 2nd period).
Also, just to change things up, I am going to be grading this assignment collectively, meaning that your grade will be determined by how your class responds to the assignment. In other words, if all of the questions are answered, then everyone in class gets 100%. If only 12 of the 24 questions are answered, then you get a 50%.
