Our first test of the year is on Tuesday. It is a multiple choice affair reviewing grammar and vocabulary from Latin I. The scope then will be Capitula I-VIII. Make sure you review the work we have been going over in class thus far!

So, in capitulo tertio decimo we are looking at the Roman calendar. Basically, looking at how the Romans viewed time, they counted down to a fixed date in the future. We will be testing on Friday 2/18 for Capitulum XII. The format is different – we are going to be using a multiple choice format comprised of 34 questions. If you study over the following exercitia from the workbook you will be ready for the test:

12.1, 12.2, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 12.8, 12.9, 12.10

Here are the notes from today’s class – we review Pensum A for Capitulum XII and reviewed the format for the test as well as using adjectives.

For your quiz on Friday on Comparative Adjectives, look over 12.7 and 12.14 to help you review the forms. Also, look over 12.18 and 12.19 to help you review your positive adjective forms.
