Our mission is to spread the appreciation and excitement of classical studies. We know that such programs require highly-specialized instructors and in most cases, the local resources are not in a position to enable such programs to flourish. We at Romae have founded this site with this vision – to create opportunities for others to study Latin or other classically-related programs.
Amicitia is an extension of that mission. We believe that communication and collaboration is vital. We are dependent on the imagination and energies of motivated individuals who are passionate about our field and want to see it succeed. This is another way to get things moving.
