Welcome to Romae.org, the Classical Languages and Studies network.
Romae is a network comprised of a series of sites all geared towards the field of Classics. There are sites on here ranging from individual teacher sites to organizations. We have various projects and features on the Romae network as well, from the use of Minecraft to reconstruct ancient Rome to a question and answer feature site much like you might find on Yahoo! Answers.
Amicitia | A Classical Social Network
At its core, Romae’s beauty as a network is in how our members form a community and interact with one another. The heart of this concept is found at the Amicitia, Romae’s social network which allows members to create profiles and join groups to interact with one another. Our members form their own groups and engage in discussions on various topics or collaborate with one another on topics and ideas.
The Amicitia is extremely dynamic, flexible, and easy to use. It has been used for organizations to plan and have meetings and it has been utilized by teachers to create highly interactive communities for their students. This leads to an open and unified community of life-long learners; a place where people can come together to share ideas, learn, and grow.
